Scholarships in
partnership with the
University of Salford
The University of Salford offers degree
scholarships to students from Bury College
University Centre who are progressing with
their studies in selected subjects at an
undergraduate level.
The Al-Habeeb Scholarship offers students from
disadvantaged backgrounds the opportunity to further
their studies. Funded by the generosity of Mohammad
Habeebullah OBE JP, CEO and Trustee of the Al Habeeb
Foundation, the scholarship supports one student each year
who progresses to the University of Salford after completing
selected Higher National Certificate (HNC) courses at Bury
College University Centre.
This cash scholarship is intended to help with living costs, travel,
and other expenses. It does not cover tuition fees.
The Bury College University Centre is committed to improving
social mobility at all levels of study and increasing the opportunities
available for students across the region, regardless of their
background.
