emails about starting the
enrolment process.
You will also be sent details
of our ‘Be Bury College
Ready’ webpages. Visit
these and discover a range
of resources to help your
successful transition to
College.

out your chosen subject
and make new friends.
JULY
Enjoy a well-earned
Summer break. We will be
in contact with further
details on how to complete
your enrolment at
College.
Congratulations on your
results. You will be invited
to enrol at College, or
discuss your options, from
19th August 2027 (GCSE
results day). To help secure
your place, please ensure
you are available to upload
your results on 19th August
and attend a face-to-face
appointment at the College
between 19th and 23rd
August. These are important
steps in completing your
enrolment before starting
your course.

SEPTEMBER
HOW TO APPLY
We look forward to
welcoming you to
Bury College.
Applications open online from Monday 5th October. The earlier you
apply the sooner you will receive an invite to an appointment to
discuss your application. Your application will be given priority if
it’s submitted by Monday 30th November 2026.
Classes start from
Wednesday 1st
September 2027.
Missed the priority deadline?
We welcome applications for the full academic year and all applications
will be considered on an individual basis.
COMMUNICATION
Throughout the application and enrolment process we will send you information via email. Please ensure
that the applicant and parent/carer email addresses you provide are up-to-date. Please do not use your
school email address, as you may lose access to this once you leave school.
The College may also contact you via text message and/or post with relevant information about the
course you have applied for, and information to help you prepare for your studies.
