Access courses are for adults aged 19 and over. For Level 3 Access programmes you will need to hold GCSE English as a
minimum but you will be allowed to add the study of GCSE Maths on to your diploma (if assessed at the required level).
If you do not hold the required entry qualifications for the Level 3 Access course we highly recommend that you take
a year to develop your knowledge and skills in the area you are interested in alongside achieving Maths and/or English
GCSE. This will develop your academic skills and provide a valuable foundation of knowledge to ensure a smooth
progression onto the Access course. We also have a suite of short courses for adults available in both the social science
and health subject areas.
