ACCESS COURSES?
Access courses will appeal strongly to
individuals who:
Access courses are for adults aged 19 and over, who
have significant life experience but have left education
with few qualifications, and are interested in pursuing
further study at degree level.
• Want to develop subject specific knowledge to help
them progress directly to university.
In addition to gaining subject knowledge, these courses
aim to develop and enhance your essential study skills in
preparation for university studies, including referencing,
academic writing and ICT skills.
• Are looking to enhance their study skills in preparation
for university studies.
• Are looking to eventually start an exciting and
rewarding career in areas where a degree may be
required, including nursing, social work, psychology,
law and many more.
Highly qualified and experienced Access to Higher
Education tutors will provide one-to-one guidance and
support to help with your university application.
