an Apprenticeship provides a formal

Removal of Mandatory English and
Maths Quali昀椀cations: Apprentices
who begin their training at age 19 or
older are no longer required to achieve
Level 2 Functional Skills quali昀椀cations
in English and maths to complete
their apprenticeship, if agreed with
the employer.
